Rebecca R. Pouliot is a Managing Director, shareholder and voting member of the Investment Committee at RINET. She leads one of the firm’s client service teams and is responsible for the day-to-day management of her clients’ financial affairs, as well as crafting and implementing their strategic financial plans. Rebecca has considerable experience advising clients through divorce as well as negotiating and implementing prenuptial and ante nuptial agreements. Due to the strength of her relationships with her clients and her intimate understanding of the family dynamics, Rebecca is often asked to serve as trustee for her clients. Her client base includes many corporate executives and retired business owners, as well as their extended families.
Prior to joining RINET in 2000, Rebecca was a manager in the Private Client Advisors practice at Deloitte and Touche LLP, where she focused on providing tax, estate and financial planning services to high-net-worth executives.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stonehill College, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Northeastern University. She is a 2016 graduate of the Schwab Executive Leadership program, an elite training program that focuses on developing leadership, innovation, talent management, strategic marketing, and entrepreneurship skills to help prepare leaders to manage and grow their firms. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)® and an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP)®.
Rebecca is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and has served on numerous committees for the Council, including a current role on the Budget and Finance Committee. She is also a member of the Professional Advisors Committee for the Boston Foundation, the Financial Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 2012, Rebecca was elected by WealthManagement.com as one of the “Top 40 under 40” registered investment advisors in the country.
Rebecca lives north of Boston with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing with her sons as well as watching them play hockey, soccer and baseball. Rebecca also spends considerable time coaching youth soccer and serving as her local middle school’s PTO treasurer.
