Brian Rivotto is a Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of RINET Company, LLC. Brian and his staff assist clients in all facets of their financial affairs. He specializes in financial planning, income tax planning, asset allocation, and charitable and family gifting strategies.
Brian has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RINET in 2002, Brian was a partner in an international accounting firm focused on tax planning and consulting for high net worth clients, closely held businesses, and corporate executives. He has been quoted in financial publications such as Business Week, Journal of Compensation and Benefits, Registered Representative, Pensions & Investments, and Investment News.
Brian obtained a BA in economics from Hamilton College and a MS in accounting from Northeastern University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Brian is a Personal Financial Specialist as designated by the AICPA.
Brian serves on the Board of Overseers for the Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center.
Gary P. Savage is a Managing Director of RINET Company, LLC. Gary’s responsibilities include oversight of RINET’s Wealth Planning Group, client management, and assisting with new business development and strategic planning efforts.
Gary joined RINET in 1997, after working several years for a Boston-based regional accounting firm focused on tax planning and consulting for high net worth clients. He obtained a BSA from Stonehill College, and a MST from Bentley College. Gary is a 2006 recipient of the Boston Business Journal’s “40 under 40” award, which recognizes forty professionals under the age of forty for their professional and civic achievement.
Gary is a Certified Financial Planner, a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Savage is the President of the New England Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and former member of the Executive Committee of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Professional Advisory Committee of the Boston Foundation.
Gary lives in Winchester, Massachusetts with his wife, Kim, and their three children. He is a member of Winchester Country Club and is an active triathlon participant.
David Beckwith is a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of RINET Company, LLC. He is responsible for leading the development and direction of RINET's overall investment strategy and tactical decision-making. David oversees the due diligence, selection, and monitoring of all investment managers, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
David has over 25 years of investment experience. Prior to joining RINET, he was the Managing Director of Hale and Dorr Capital Management, LLC, heading up this $1.8 billion private client/family investment management firm. His other previous experience includes Senior Vice President at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., managing private client and institutional accounts; Vice President and Portfolio Manager at John Hancock Financial Services, managing global, international, and Pacific Basin mutual funds; and Financial Analyst with Lloyds Bank International. Mr. Beckwith has commented on international markets, asset allocation, and other financial issues in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Daily Deal, and on television outlets such as CNBC and ABC World News Tonight. Also, he has spoken at various family office and hedge fund conferences.
David is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the Boston Society of Security Analysts. He holds a BA from Trinity College and studied international finance at the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He is a Trustee and rotating Investment Committee member at the Dedham Institution for Savings.
Kathleen C. Wallace is Managing Director of RINET Company, LLC and team leader of the Trust Management Group. Kathy joined RINET in November 1998 as Trust Administrator.
She has been involved in trust taxation and administration since 1985. Kathy has worked as a Tax Officer in the trust tax departments of BankBoston, Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Company, and State Street Bank.
In her role as team leader of the Trust Management Group, Kathy is responsible for overseeing all areas of trust administration, including beneficiary distributions, maintenance of the trust accounting system, mailing of quarterly reports, preparation of fiduciary income tax returns, and projection of the trusts’ accounting income and expenses. In addition, the Trust Management Group administers the Private Foundations of our clients and prepares the accountings for Family Limited Partnerships. Kathy is also involved in the daily management of clients’ financial affairs through payment of bills, collection of income, household accounting, and wages and reporting for household employees.
Kathy is a graduate of Bentley College with a MS in taxation and holds a BS in Management Science from Bridgewater State College. She successfully completed the National Graduate Trust School sponsored by the American Bankers Association at Northwestern University. She is licensed as a Certified Financial Planner and a licensed Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.
Kathy is currently a member of the board of Big Sister of Greater Boston and President of the Big Sister Alumnae Association. In addition, she volunteers as part of their Big for a Day program.
Patrick B. Maraghy is a Managing Director of RINET Company, LLC. Pat has direct client responsibility for several individuals, couples, families, trusts, and charitable entities. He develops tax and financial plans, asset allocation strategies, estate planning analyses, and assists his clients with sophisticated charitable gifting techniques.
Pat has been with RINET since 1977. Prior to joining RINET, he worked for several years as a Tax Manager at Price Waterhouse & Co, where he began his career. He is a 40-year member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Boston Estate planning Council. Pat earned a BS from Merrimack College and an MBA from DePaul University.
Pat is a member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of Merrimack College in North Andover, MA.
He lives with his wife Grace and their two children in Andover, MA.
Rebecca R. Pouliot is a Managing Director of RINET Company, LLC. She leads one of RINET’s Wealth Planning Group teams and is responsible for the day-to-day management of her clients’ financial affairs as well as crafting and implementing their strategic financial plans. Rebecca’s client base includes many retirees as well as executives and their extended families.
Prior to joining RINET in 2000, Rebecca was a manager in the Private Client Advisors practice at Deloitte and Touche LLP. During her tenure at Deloitte, she focused on providing tax and financial planning services to high net worth executives.
Rebecca is a graduate of Stonehill College and holds a BS in accounting. She also holds a MS in taxation from Northeastern University. Rebecca is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. She is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Rebecca and her husband live in Stoneham, Massachusetts with their two children.
Kathleen M. O’Brien is a Managing Director of RINET Company, LLC. Kathy leads one of the Wealth Planning Group teams and she and her staff assist clients in all facets of their financial affairs. She specializes in financial planning and income tax planning.
Kathy has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RINET, she was a senior manager at the Bollard Group LLC, a family office for ultra high net worth individuals. Prior to that she was a Senior Manager in the Personal Financial Planning Group at KPMG and a Trust Officer at Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Company.
Kathy obtained a BSBA in accounting from Stonehill College and a MS in taxation from Bentley College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Kathy lives in Walpole, Massachusetts with her husband Charles. They have three grown children and several grandchildren.
Luke S. Corbalis is a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer of RINET Company, LLC. Luke’s responsibilities include the development and oversight of RINET’s compliance program.
Luke joined RINET in 2001 after spending three years as an auditor for a national accounting firm and 18 years as the controller for a national magazine.
Luke has a BA from Syracuse University and a MS in accounting from Northeastern University. Mr. Corbalis also has Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professionalsm designation from the National Regulatory Services.
Luke lives in Attleboro, Massachusetts with his wife Suzanne. They have two grown children. Luke enjoys boating and triathlon racing.
Joel H. Goober, is a Senior Director of RINET Company, LLC and a member of its Investment Committee.
Joel has over 30 years of experience in the investment field. He joined RINET in 2004. Over the course of his career he was a principal at State Street Global Advisors, head of institutional investment services at Shawmut Bank, a Vice President at New England Life and Executive Director of the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System. He is a former trustee of Bates College, a member of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Investment Committee, Chair of the West End House Boys and Girls Club Investment Committee, and a retired member of the Massachusetts Bar.
Joel is a graduate of Bates College and Syracuse University College of Law.
Richard N. Thielen is the Founder of RINET Company, LLC., which he formed in 1974.
Mr. Thielen has been advising high net worth clients since the beginning of his career while at Price Waterhouse & Co. which he joined after graduating from college in 1965. In 1972, Mr. Thielen joined Continental Investment Corporation, a financial services firm where he remained until the formation of RINET Company in 1974.
Mr. Thielen, now semi-retired, continues to assist new and existing clients with establishing and reviewing their overall estate and financial plans. He helps develop the asset allocations and provides insight as to various investment and planning options including charitable and family gifting strategies.
Mr. Thielen is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a BS degree in accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts in 1968. During his career, Mr. Thielen served on the Boards of Directors of three public companies and a number of private companies. He has served as Trustee of Colby-Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire and was a member of the Investment Committee for the New Hampshire Charitable Fund. Mr. Thielen is a Friend of New England Baptist Hospital
Richard and his wife Avone divide their time between residences in Sunapee, New Hampshire, and Sarasota (Siesta Key), Florida. They have three grown children.
